Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.

The ideal candidate will have broad experience in voice, video and data network infrastructure. Extensive service delivery and network integration experience for a variety of voice, video and data network protocol standards. Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills. Certifications with major network system vendors such as Oracle (Acme Packet), Avaya and Cisco are a strong plus.

Use network monitoring tools to identify problems or help customers requiring assistance with network hardware, software, or inquiries.
Provide problem determination/resolution based upon personal experience, expert opinion and standard operating procedures, including immediate resolution where possible.
Works with other network technologists that are involved in network monitoring and maintenance, configuration management, and customer support.
Document and propose solutions for network problems and work with appropriate personnel to achieve resolution.
Participate in resolution of service-related issues. Interface with users and support organizations to ensure smooth flow of communications in all directions. May serve as a Configuration Item Manager (CIM) for team network devices. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Accomplish other duties as assigned.
Attends weekly meetings and working groups to address network issues and suggested improvement.
Candidate should be familiar with performing within a fixed price, performance-based environment where performance is based on pre-determined Service Level Agreement s (SLA s) or Acceptable Levels of Performance (ALP s).
Candidate is required to support the development, documentation and tracking of measurements and metrics relevant to the ALP s.
Interfaces with Government counterparts, both CONUS and OCONUS, as well as other team members.
Responsible for the network components used on the program with specific responsibilities including but not limited to evaluate system network requirements and make appropriate technical recommendations.

Interact with Operations Engineers and Operators to provide solutions and resolve problems in a timely and proactive manner.
Implement tools and processes for efficient and effective operational management of the environment -- change management, monitoring, alerting, incident handling, customer request handling, etc.
Troubleshoot networking issues, enhance network performance and reliability.
Specialized application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
Define functional requirements, perform research, evaluate vendors/solutions, and design/implement solutions.
Engage/negotiate with operations stakeholders to develop software behavioral requirements; to be translated by software development into minimal viable product.
Provide technical engineering support to all phases of network development, operation and management.
Analyze network topologies and network performance.

Required Experience, Education, and Certifications:
Considered a career or Journey level.
Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
VOIP technology. - Experience with TDM and analog/voice transport technologies.
Architect, design and implement Oracle Session Border Controllers (Client), Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBEs), and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
Design, configure and troubleshoot QoS classification, marking and prioritization of network traffic (voice, critical applications, etc.).
Configure route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and partitions.

Technologically savvy in handling of administrative practices.
Comfortable working with confidential/sensitive/ secret or proprietary information.
