Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret Clearance.

The client is currently growing its Enterprise Systems Monitoring (ESM) team. As a member of the FIMS program, the SolarWinds Administrator will support the implementation, maintenance and operations of SolarWinds and its supporting infrastructure, integrating with other systems, and developing and supporting automation.

This position focuses on the following scope:
•Design, implement, configure, and document the following products in failover mode: NCM, NPM, Server & Application Monitor ALX and Orion Enterprise Operations Console
•Integrated Pollers with the possibility for pollers at multiple sites
•Configure alerting and thresholds
•ServiceNow auto ticketing integration
•Plugins for Security Scanning
•Integration with SQL
•Deployment must support FIPS 140-2
•Integration with FIMS existing architecture
•Design, document architecture

FIMS supports a 24x7 operations team. Position will require integration with existing teams for implementation as well as assisting team members with day-to-day use of the tool and tool optimization.

General Requirement:
This role design, implement, configure, document and supports SolarWinds software product. Other related tools may be in scope, for integration.

Required
Experience in configuring, operating and/or troubleshooting SolarWinds
Ability to communicate (both orally and written) effectively to various audiences
Experience performing Enterprise Systems Monitoring (ESM)
Excellent teamwork skills
English: fluent

Preferred
Any one or more of the following skills:
Experience with monitoring products – up to 1 year
Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration – up to 2 years
Experience performing network monitoring in a virtual environment – up to 1 year
Experience with integration of network/monitoring products with a ticketing system – up to 1 year
Experience troubleshooting VMWare issues in a large environment – up to 1 year
Experience working in an enterprise cloud operations environment – up to 1 year
Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., Bash, Perl) and experience with creating scripts to automate processes – up to 1 year
Ability to create formal documentation for systems administration, operations, and maintenance

No travel is expected, however, some travel may be needed so all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs.
