JOB DESCRIPTION:
The PMS Data Migration Specialist will provide customer support and facilitation during the migration of existing PMS system data into the SynXis PMS system database. The primary responsibilities will be to ensure all prerequisite tasks are completed by the customer in preparation for the migration and then to execute the data migration scripts, monitor data migration progress and troubleshoot as required. Following completion of data migration, the PMS Data Migration Specialist will ensure all post migration activities are completed by the customer, provide application and process expertise as needed and finalize all migration documentation. The migration facilitation will be conducted by telephone and teleconferencing for up to 3 hotels simultaneously and 12 hotels per days.

The candidate must have flexibility in scheduling work days and shift hours; typically Sun – Friday between 8am and 6pm but other days or hours may be required with advance notice.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE:
• Customer facing experience preferably in the hospitality industry
• Working knowledge of hotel operations and/or property management systems
• Experience in multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
• System or software installation experience, customer support or customer training experience is a plus
• Salesforce and/or SynXis PMS experience is a plus

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Detailed oriented and ability to perform in a structured environment, focus on daily task completion and follow standardized operating procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization skills & time management
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong computer software skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teleconferencing Software
• Excellent attendance and timeliness required
