Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for customer contact and making sure that customer is aware of order progress.
  • Develop through training and on-the-job experience a thorough understanding of the entire ICOMs/CSG billing process including but not limited to: pro-rates, non-pays, rate increases, adjustments, credits, discounts, collections, renewals, and billing equations performs other duties as assigned.
  • Work is regularly supervised and reviewed for timeliness, accuracy and correct procedures.
  • Ensure that customers receive the best service possible through processing orders, preparing general correspondence and coordinating with other functions as required.
  • Adhere to productivity standards to ensure all orders are handled in a timely and efficient manner
  • If required receive inbound calls for scheduling and make outbound calls to all customers for scheduling and make reminder calls to customers for the installation appointment as needed
  • Applies appropriate stages, statuses, and comments to all Service Requests/Opportunities throughout the life of the order when applicable.
  • Ensures performance meets operational metrics and contractual obligations (e.g., SLA delivery).
  • Coordinates escalations with Leads, Provisioning, Service Delivery, Construction, Operations, Project Management, and other related groups as required in the activation of services and/or installation of equipment.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of all Business products and pricing models in a growing innovative product mix environment.
  • Proficient in setting up appropriate charges for commercial accounts and discounts for long-term service agreements.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and good judgment in dealing with customer issues and handling complicated requests.
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and handle various tasks simultaneously while working efficiently, effectively, and independently under minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing work environment.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and gap closure.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure production environment.
  • Project a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, employees, and the Company.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment Demonstrates flexibility.
  • Maintains a professional image through appearance and actions.
  • Engages in peer-assisted learning & Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrates ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedure manuals Ability to create routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills--including the ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and courteously with all customers and employees.
