 Key Responsibilities/
 Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
 
  • Ability to apply fundamental scientific knowledge and technologies to support the development and routine testing of consumer healthcare products.
  • Individuals should have training and practical laboratory skills and a fundamental understanding of scientific principles.
  • Perferred candidates should also demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and should be proficient in computer applications for report generation, data acquisition and data analysis. Demonstrates key competencies of individual leadership, technical and professional knowledge, quality and contributing to team success.
  •  Work collaboratively in a team setting. Under close supervision conducts scientific studies to support the development of prototype formulations and provide solutions to routine technical problems
  •  Follow specific, detailed instructions to complete assignments that contribute to the completion of project milestones.
  •  Record experimental details and data into laboratory notebooks.
  • Read and understand SOPs and BOPs and follow policy, procedures and applicable government regulations
  •  Review the laboratory notebooks and other written records of scientists
  •  Utilized the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to capture the results of analytical testing and/or to submit samples for testing.
  •  Performs other duties as assigned
  •  Scientists within Analyitcal Sciences
  • Scientist within Product Development
  •  Development Quality and Compliance
  •  Project workgroup team members
  •  Their immediate manager.
  •  Experience with chromatographic analysis methods (HPLC, UPLC etc.).
  •  Perferred candidates should also demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and should be proficient in computer applications for report generation, data acquisition and data analysis. Experience with Waters Empower Data Acquisition system preferred.
  •  Experience with Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, powerpoint etc).
  •  Possesses written and oral communication skills and organizational skills.
