Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a contract Corporate Travel Manager candidate to continously monitor and improve travel policies and programs.
  • This role will be th "go to " person for any travel related matters from booking tickets through the company designated tool, to assisting with group meetings as well as compliance reporting.
  • This person should be a strategic thinker and be able to adjust to the companies travel needs.
  • The position requires a excellent people skills, organizational abilities and a great deal of professionalism.
  • Manage relationships with travel agencies and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and/or rates with travel service providers.
  • Develop strategic and scalable policies and programs for corporate and potentially global travel.
  • Provide guideance on travel documnets, insurance or other travel related regulations.
  • Assist departments and admins with arranging travel.
  • Drive continuous improvement of travel programs.
  • Refine report development to benchmark, analyze and monitor travel and policy compliance.
  • Handle day to day inquiries from employee and vendors.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
 
  • Proven experience as a corporate travel manager with strong, professional interpersonal skills and travel industry knowledge.
  • Develop solid internal working relationships with all departments, especially Meetings/Events, Sales, Executive Admins and Marketing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well organized and reliabel with a high attention to detail. Proactive, customer oriented approach.
  • Able to effectively speak to and present data to all levels of the organization. Flexibility and ability to learn quickly.
  •  High School diploma with 10+ years experience in a Corporate or Global Travel role or and AA or Bachleors degree in a hospitality related field combined with 5+ years in a Corproate or Global Travel role a must. Hospitality experience a definite plus.
