Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Automated QA Solution for Rest API’s using Client's Approved technologies.
  • Work across Client Technology and vendors to engage the right resources at the right time to ensure objectives/requirements are delivered on schedule.
  • Work With QA Automation SME to co-develop a test framework for Rest API’s.
  • Work with the Delivery Manager and QA CoE Leadership Team to produce an integrated and scalable product.
  • Follow-up with each accountable IT and business area to ensure that deliverables remain on schedule.
  • Identify and assess risks inherent in the project and design around contingencies.
  • Work across IT to ensure that all components supporting the end-to-end objective/requirement have been assigned.
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture Teams and TFS BTS SME’s to ensure the right technology fit for the solution.
  • Align architecture diagrams and process flows to project plan to identify and remediate gaps.
  • Work with QA to develop testing strategy which has traceability to requirements.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • 5+ years of the following Tools:
  1. Version control Git/GitHub, Stash
  2. Script development tools Shell, Perl, Python, Java Scripting
  3. Open Source tools Jenkins, Selenium
  4. Ticket systems Serena, Jira.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Direct hands on experience working with Waterfall and Agile project methodology.
  • Experience working on financial application projects
  • 3+ years of Java Programming plus development with runnable jars
  • 2+ years Hands-on Expertise using Urban Code Build and Deploy
  • Experience in the car finance business
  • Application programming, database and system design
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
  • Elevating delivery to keep pace with emerging platform demand including mobile
  • Project management experience on large (multi-year) efforts
  • Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and ability to match new methodologies to the right development environment.
