Salary: up to 120K +/-

In a nutshell:
  • Must have an Azure background.  Someone that has helped take an environment from Prem to off-Prem
  • This is a great opportunity for a Lead Network Professional to take the next logical step into Management.  Must have some Leadership background but this is a very hands-on position, within a smaller company.
  • Smaller to Mid-size environment backgrounds, with a broad background, would work best.


GENERAL PURPOSE:
Manages, plans, develops, and coordinates all aspects of the organization's server, network infrastructure, and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supports all production and non-production IT infrastructure ensuring security, control, integrity, and accessibility of all systems 24x7.
  • Responsible for the ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server and network environments.
  • Ongoing maintenance activities to stabilize, enhance the environment, and maintain systems with 99.99% uptime.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation, executing standards, design of physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security.
  • Provides RCA documentation for all support activities.
  • Tracks all activities in Addison Lee's ITSM and Development/Project systems.
  • Provides support during scheduled Sunday maintenance windows (6am – 10am). Maximum 2 scheduled maintenance windows per month.
  • Provides RCA for all out of hours support calls the next business day.
  • Performs installation, configuration, migration, upgrade, and administration of server and network environment.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains project documentation.
  • Utilizes strong business acumen, leadership, analytical skills, competitor awareness, and organizational strategies to achieve desired business results.
  • Contributes to a positive, ethical, and respectful working environment and communicates openly with others. Models company culture both internally and externally.
  • Occasional travel, both domestic and international may be required, modes of transportation include vehicle and/or airplane. Occasional travel to other Addison Lee locations and traveling to suppliers, contractors and client's premises as is reasonably required.
  • Maintains confidentiality of Addison Lee, employee, client, vendor, and contractor information and data in full accordance with Addison Lee policy guidelines or senior management directives. Under no circumstances can any confidential information be discussed outside of the department.
  • Maintains a polite, courteous, and professional demeanor when communicating with clients, vendors, customers, potential customers, and staff.
  • Ensures that at every opportunity that the services of the company are being promoted and marketed in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Makes every effort to ensure that customer/staff needs and expectations are being met.

OTHER DUTIES:
  • Provides technical assistance to staff on day-to-day issues and works closely with internal IT team and vendors to troubleshoot and develop resolutions to daily technical problems.
  • Supports company growth through planning, implementation, and management.
  • Develops and implements sustainable and scalable solutions.
  • Negotiates with vendors, reviews and executes company contracts, within limits of authority.
  • Develops and maintains close liaison with external and internal sources and consultants to make sure the mission, vision, and goals of the business are achieved according to schedule.
  • Utilizes strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels within the organization.
  • Supports identification, development, and institutionalization of company culture.
  • Utilizes ability to influence others to gain support and commitment.
  • Handles difficult clients and customer relations, when necessary, with the support of Human Resources and Senior Management.
  • Leads teams by example to work smarter, develop efficiencies, and maximize resources and capabilities.
  • Prepares and submits thorough and timely reports, including expense reimbursement requests.
  • Represents the organization in its relationships with major clients, suppliers, agencies, professional societies, and other applicable groups or individuals.
  • Takes necessary actions to protect and enhance the organization's investments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages a small team of infrastructure engineers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (Minimum Qualifications):
  • 7 + years cloud infrastructure management experience, ideally within an e-commerce environment.
  • Hands on experience with the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Server 2008 and newer
    • Microsoft SQL 2008 and newer
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Microsoft Office365
    • Fortinet Fortigate Firewalls
    • Cisco Meraki Wifi and Switches
    • VoIP telephony
    • Brocade Load Balancers
  • Experience managing code deployment to production environment.
  • Strong analytical ability with a data-driven strategic mindset.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders of varying seniorities.
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies.
  • Experience working with nearshore and offshore development teams.
  • Experience analyzing the performance of existing products, managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and identifying opportunities based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with individuals in all areas of business.
  • Proven experience working closely with a team of engineers (preferably in an agile development environment) to deliver new business functionality.
  • Takes ownership, creatively solves problems, and pro-actively secures the objectives of the business.
  • Excellent oral, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to the Senior Management and other entities.
