SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                 
  • Assist IS management with support objectives related to the direct operations channel.
  • The Application Support Manager will administer and support the CRM and Sales Excellence applications in order to ensure their operation meets the established objectives defined by management. 
  • The CRM Application Support Manager is responsible for driving participation from all users of the CRM and sales applications. 
  • This position requires an exceptionally detailed understanding of the sales process and how it relates to CRM tools in order to ensure success within the organization. 
  • The individual is responsible for pipeline data collection/consolidation, coordinating end-user training, implementing key reports, coordinating the deployment of revisions/updates, and troubleshooting application issues as they arise. 
                    
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and administer CRM systems, key sales metrics, and provide support for all users in the Direct and In-Direct Channels.
  • Support the interdependencies between CRM and ERP systems.
  • Analyze sales processes and work collaboratively with the CRM vendors and Sales Management to identify enhancement opportunities and measure effectiveness.
  • Ensure employees and upper management complete all requirements of CRM Training, including but not limited to: attending CRM training classes 
  • Develop an expert level understanding of all sales processes and how they integrate with the applications by working closely with the field and corporate sales organization.
  • Work closely with Sales Management to reinforce the sales process with proper utilization of the CRM tools.
  • Support Sales Management in conducting CRM related sales management tasks (i.e.) pipeline re-calibration, opportunity reviews, and skills coaching.
  • Support Sales Management in reviewing and amending process implementations
  • Support compiling/presenting to Executive and Sales management, the status and on-going requirements for the CRM systems.
  • Provide on-going support to sales and sales management regarding results from the CRM data pipeline, accounts, activities, lease tracking and ERP data links.
  • Support Business Reviews with Sales management utilizing data/metrics from the CRM system.
  • Manage vendor coordination of feature enhancements/revisions to the CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Minimum 5 years of sales support, product management and marketing development experience, working with CRM systems and sales processes 
  • Ability to travel at least 15% overnight 
  • Company paid relocation is not provided. 

Preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with Executives, Managers and Sales professionals.
  • Experience with ERP systems and their interdependencies with CRM applications.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to company vision and mission.
  • Excellent understanding of solution centric thinking with a clear customer focus.
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect sales processes.
  • Understanding of Sales Management tasks (i.e. pipeline management, opportunity reviews, etc.)
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability to coordinate various disciplines such as Sales, Marketing, IT, HR, Training
  • Process design and business process engineering skills.
  • High level of individual initiative.
  • Experience in the copier/printer industry.

AUTHORITY:
  • Limited supervision required, follows established methods and procedures.
  • Influences the selection, acquisition, development, installation, maintenance, and support of IT solutions related to CRM and direct operations sales applications.
  • Detects and reports system deficiencies to IS management for the purpose of preventing  operational difficulties
