Salary:   80-100K + 105% Bonus
 
General Description/Position Overview:
This position is accountable for the creation and maintenance of both revenue-generating and revenue-supporting materials in collaboration with the Marketing, Business Development (Client) / Sales, Program Management and Operations.  The Marketing Design Manager / Specialist will also assist with tradeshow collateral, Client / Sales support materials, social media execution and other marketing efforts as needed. Strong business accountability, proactive communication, effective time management, as well as the ability to manage short- and long-term projects in an environment of dynamic business priorities, is critical to success.
 
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provides design and creative/content support, as assigned, for Marketing, Client / Sales, Program Management and Operations relating to pre-sales and post-sales support:
    • Business design and implementation for direct revenue-generating programs:
      • Affordability: assist in the design and production process of copay/voucher cards, debit cards, client kits, collateral materials, emails and related web and mobile components
      • Messaging: assist in the planning, design and execution of both digital and print programs related to the messaging products and services (ScriptGuide, Prescriber Inform, Patient Savings, etc.)
    • Business design and implementation for revenue-supporting programs: ValueAdds, Vaccine Information Statements, etc.
    • Client / Sales / Marketing support:  Creation of sales and marketing collateral, preparation of digital photos / images for use in marketing campaigns, presentations and social media posts. Assist in preparing exhibits and collateral for tradeshows; posting approved social media content; and other projects as needed
  • Collaborates proactively and constructively with external customers (Pharma, EHR, Pharmacy and others) as well as internal customers (Marketing, Client / Sales, EHR and Retail Channels, Product Management, etc.). Develops a solid understanding of current and future products.  Organizes and prioritizes work with a full understanding of the business objectives, priorities, timelines, stakeholder needs/preferences, program requirements and flawless design of targeted communications.
  • With available data, provides estimates for program and component cost for use in proposals and SOWs.
  • Provides excellent customer service (internal, external)—taking the "extra step” needed to ensure business success.
  • Ensures that work product is high quality and executed promptly; takes accountability for overall work of the Product Marketing department.
  • Demonstrates and fosters effective, collaborative and fact-based communication regarding creative / design initiatives.
  • Implements effective internal content management; recommends enhancements as needed.
  • Promotes continuous improvement, excellence, and accountability by identifying areas in need of process or product improvement and proposing, developing and monitoring policies, procedures and innovative solutions.
  • Ensures effective management of creative / content, consistent with the required rubric.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
 
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, design or closely related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of design experience (Specialist); minimum 3 – 5 years (Manager)
 
Required knowledge of:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office:  Strong PowerPoint; standard business level Word and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of the offset print process and proofing
  • Social media marketing and channels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of .html and CSS
 
Desired knowledge of:
  • Regulated product and/or marketing environments
  • Document management systems (Zinc, Vault, etc.)
 
Qualifications:
  • Excellent design skills—with information/data visualization a plus
  • Experience with marketing design or project management, preferably in a health-related field
  • Detail oriented and possesses excellent interpersonal skills—including
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time with deadline pressures.
    • Constructive customer service orientation (internal, external)
  • Knowledge of healthcare, pharmaceutical marketing, managed care, pharmacy and EHR software a plus
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Listens to and acts on constructive feedback
  • Team player—strongly collaborative; able to work with stakeholders at multiple levels in client-side and within own organization including Program Managers, Client / Sales, Marketing and others.
 
Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal travel; occasionally between office locations (Philadelphia, New Jersey, St. Louis)
