Director, Program Management (Healthcare Operations)
Location: Morristown, NJ
Salary: 120-130K+15% Bonus

The Director of Program Management leads a group of Sr. Managers, Managers, Program Management and Analysts, Program Management responsible for planning and executing client programs and managing client deliverables. The Director oversees and develops PMs who have various levels of experience in program/project management in the healthcare industry. They possess experience in developing, building and managing customer/client relationships, operational excellence and strong leadership skills. This role requires detail orientation and willingness to get directly involved with planning and execution. The Director mentors, PM's and provides strategic input to account management issues and assists in troubleshooting solutions and removing obstacles. The Director is responsible for working with internal resources/departments to ensure SOP's are followed and measured through Client Scorecards.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the complete oversight of a group of Corporate Co-Pay Programs including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance management.
  • Develops programs that meet the needs of the organization and tracks progress against stated goals or milestones.
  • Develop and track to ensure that program activities follow organizational standards and any relevant external regulations.
  • Responsible for hiring, mentoring, developing, monitoring performance and or terminating team members on an ongoing basis consistent with Company guidelines.
  • Responsible for providing feedback to direct reports on an ongoing basis and through annual performance reviews.
  • Identify product training opportunities for team members to ensure the team has a good understanding of company offerings and operational requirements.
  • Responsible for overseeing all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
  • Ensure their team are engaging and communicating with the Client and internal support teams to complete client deliverables and manage expectations.
  • Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, and quality standards are met including project timelines, client meeting recaps, action item reports, etc. are completed and distributed.
  • Financial oversight of client budgets, scope changes, invoicing, revenue and accruals, etc.
  • Ensures project implementation occurs and launch dates are met.

  • Development of client solutions for complex programs including assisting in developing client and internal process flows.

Education and Experience (use bullet points):
  • Bachelor Degree required in business, marketing or communications
  • 5 – 10 years pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry experience preferred

Required knowledge of (use bullet points):
  • Experience in leading a team
  • PMP certification and/or Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Intermediate skill level in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
