  • We are looking for someone to help take us to the next level!  We need someone that has a proven background as an Account Manager, and has been able to grow accounts by providing excellent customer service and knowledge to current and future accounts.  We are open to all different areas of speciality.  
  • This person must be able to open accounts, be knowledgeable enough to know the right questions to ask managers to get that edge we need to find outstanding candidates for them.  
  • Should have an excellent knowledge of the recruiting process, permanent and consulting.
  • Should be using best practices sales techniniques and keep up with the latest trends on how to reach people.

The Client Account Manager is responsible for building a network of thriving clients with viable openings to be filled on a contract, contingency or retainer basis. The Client Account Manager will be responsible for researching potential clients, targeting "Hot Hiring environments and ultimately, breaking into new accounts to cultivate relationships. Additionally, the Client Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding existing client accounts so they are being worked at an optimum level yielding maximum profitability. The Client Account Manager will manage client contact on a day-to-day, operational basis to facilitate a fluid, timely hiring process.

Responsibilities include:
  • Engage in client development activities. Activities include but are not limited to the following: soliciting new potential clients, qualifying initial clients, identifying potential end users/decision makers, establishing contact relationships, completing company and department profiles, marketing candidates, identifying cross-selling opportunities, scheduling and conducting new client visits, setting up interviews for candidates, and negotiating salaries for potential client hires.
  • Visit existing and new potential clients often. Meet with active consultants to make sure they are doing well.
  • Create a list in excel monitoring daily calls to prospective clients at client locations to obtain and/or close agreements for services.
  • Create call lists to monitor monthly calls to existing clients to identify new hiring managers at client locations to obtain and/or close agreements for services.
  • Conduct market research and qualifies/classifies target accounts within local geographies. Keep abreast of market dynamics and trends within specific market and region and forecasts client demands.
  • Able to be positively persuasive/convincing when necessary to get candidates interviews and to close out open positions.
  • Be able to effectively take a detailed job order and deliver it to the Recruiting Manager.
  • Establish client expectations and effectively communicate to appropriate parties. Advise client on staffing solutions.
  • Facilitate development of professional service agreements (including negotiation of terms when necessary) between CDI and clients.
  • Leverage current ATS system to track and maintain current and prospective clients.
  • Develop and execute daily plan.
  • Build and establish a trusting relationship with the internal recruiting team. Work closely with recruiters on open roles to help facilitate a quicker, strong search to identify candidates.
  • Meet with Recruiting Director on a weekly basis and ad-hoc to discuss open positions and any issues that are occurring.
