The role is responsible for enhancing process and technology capabilities in-market planning, forecasting, and financial reporting solutions, while working in partnership with the business and Area IS team. You will be responsible for delivering capability improvements that drive outperformance through strategic and tactical use of customer, brand, and trade promotion planning platforms in partnership with our frontline organizations. This is a business facing role.

The IS Lead for Finance is focusing on the in-market delivery for forecasting and reporting solutions driven from an overall go-to-market strategy. Success is measured in terms of sales and market performance. A close partnership is required with commercial functions like Sales, Supply, and Finance. In line with core values, this role demands high quality projects be delivered on time and on budget, while meeting ROI objectives.

The role will focus on the following key pillars of:
  • Customer and brand forecast accuracy
  • Trade promotion planning and ROI
  • Financial reporting and system-driven analysis.

Responsibilities:

The in-market IS team is in place to drive continuous improvement and drive execution excellence in-market. The IS Lead for Finance will work closely with finance and marketing teams to assess capability-opportunities and serve as a central process and tool expert for improvement programs. The role partners with area IS teams to design, pilot, and implement capability-building programs.

The role is responsible for the following:
  • Acting as an effective team member and ambassador for the finance and marketing functional teams.
  • Identifying and initiating new projects in market in line with established project methodologies
  • Analyze, capture, and document of the local market channels to identify and quantify improvement opportunities.
  • Alignment of local implementations with Company practices, policies, and projects
  • Adopt and enforce standard project management methodologies for all projects
  • Support the eCommerce initiatives with a focus on B2B opportunities with a link to medical and retail detailing.
  • Top-level escalation for frontline system issues.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be able clearly demonstrate experience in the following:
  • Experience of working in a fast paced commercial environment
  • Practical experience of implementing enterprise level finance and customer/brand planning projects in one or more of the following areas:
    • Financial forecasting, including customer and brand forecasts
    • Trade promotion management
    • Gross to Net sales analysis
    • Healthcare Professional Detailing
    • Trade marketing
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Experience of working in a truly global enterprise
  • Ability to consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to acquire appropriate business requirements
  • Ability to establish meaningful business relationships both internal and external business partners
  • The ability to manage deadlines and planning tasks across multiple resources and work streams. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Practical experience of working within Agile project management teams

The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
  • Business analysis / requirements definition
  • Ability to communicate across all levels within the business
  • Possess a good understanding of agile and scrum development methodology
  • Knowledge of technologies adopted by including but not limited to:
    • Anaplan
    • SAP finance and accounting modules (ie., FI, CO, etc)
    • BluePlanner
    • Siebel CRM
  • Creative problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative to drive and deliver results
  • Language skills desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
