Interview process: tech screen to phone screen to face to face. Manager called it out to 4 different companies and that's it. He wants to hire asap! Position is in Purchase, NY. Manager WILL not do a relo or skype because for a .net developer position we had in June, we had not one, not two, but THREE backouts for this manager of people that were supposed to relo. Position is below.

Rate: $85-$90/hr corp to corp

Positions Day to Day Responsibilities/Project Details (size, scale, scope)

Back-end code is in C#, .NET, MVC pattern and will need to understand function and operation but not do actual development

Will spend primary amount of time coding in HTML, JS (libraries is a plus not a must have). Want them to code in frameworks (angular, ember, etc any framework is good)

Will be converting site into mobile sites with responsive design and helping the UX team to easily flow between menus. Will be supporting external and internal sites.

Client Job Description:

Position Summary: The Sr. Front End Developer will work in an Agile, collaborative team environment to create a fast, seamless, responsive user experience for our internal bespoke web applications through the combination of modern JavaScript and CSS libraries. This developer is also responsible for creating and maintaining a live style guide/pattern library as well as for integration other systems for analytics, data management, and A/B testing. This will entail design and implementation of the web application as well as ensuring code quality and standards are adhered to.

Major Job Accountabilities:
  • Develop front end interfaces that are responsive, function well and are be visually appealing under a wide range of user display scenarios, including graceful degradation
  • Implement componentized and re-usable code
  • Maintaining a live style / pattern guide
  • Assist with troubleshooting and performance tuning to identify root cause and recommend solutions
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within agile project team
  • Make decisions consistent with the long-term interest of the projects
  • Ensure that Atlas Air's coding standards are followed

Qualifications:
  • BS in computer science or equivalent experience
  • At least 4-7 years of experience designing responsive layouts in MVC applications
  • Extensive understanding of HTML, CSS such as Bootstrap
  • Strong knowledge of HTML 5 and web fundamentals (HTTP, security, performance, etc.)
  • Experience with JavaScript MVC toolkit such as AngularJS, Dojo, Backbone.js, Knockout or Ember.js is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of .NET is preferred
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills
  • Must work well independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience with agile software development cycle
