Description Client is seeking a senior-level User Experience Designer to help translate our business strategy into rich multi-channel customer experiences. This person must be a highly motivated self-starter that excels in a fast paced and collaborative environment. At Client, we face and solve complex business problems daily. The ideal candidate will strengthen the team by designing elegant and simple experiences for our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Translate business concepts into flows, wireframes and prototypes that lead into simple, intuitive user experiences
• Use a data driven approach in identifying design problems and developing elegant solutions
• Apply an understanding of product strategy, performance analytics and key performance indicators to monitor performance and guide product design evolution
• Employ a user-centered design approach to rapidly test and iterate through designs
• Leverage usability best practices to guide the company's overall user experience road map
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with Product Managers and Software Developers to design interfaces that simplify complex business problems and present them to our customers empathically
• Demonstrate design thought leadership and mentor other designers
• Take smart risks and champion new ideas
Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Visual Design (or related field of study) or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant User Experience design, Interaction design, Product design or related fields
• 3-5 years of experience designing multi-channel experiences (desktop, mobile, tablet and web)
• 3-5 years of experience with UX/wireframing tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Balsamiq, InVision, Sketch and/or similar tools
• Ability to prototype with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript 
• Strong understanding of interaction design and usability best practices
• Deep understanding of mobile first and responsive design from a technical perspective and accessibility first from a UX perspective.
• Inherent ability to lead UX initiatives using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
