The UI/X Designer works independently and is team oriented, handling many projects at one time, and collaborates in a team environment. Experience as a successful user interface or graphics designer with familiarity in current usability research, theories and methodologies. A passion for healthcare and medical devices. A "hands-on " entrepreneurial, startup attitude, an ability to work with diverse global teams effectively, remarkable references.

Additional Preferred Skills:
Design user interfaces for medical devices, mobile applications, and web applications.
Document functionality, content, navigation, and interaction models through wireframes, device maps, storyboards and user flows
Observe the patterns of use, analyze tasks, document and map workflows, interview users, organize and conduct focus groups
Participate in concept creation workshops, create new concepts, brainstorm new user interface ideas and build mock-ups. Evaluate design concepts and user interface prototypes with end users


Project Description:
The User Interface/Experience (UI/X) Designer is responsible for the development of user experience artifacts consisting of device maps, user flows, wireframes, screen/page layouts and other deliverables. The UI/X Designer initiates the development of the product's conceptual model — informed by a keen understanding of intended users, the UI/X Designer describes and ranks users' goals and behaviors. An essential member of the R&D Design Team, the UI/X Designer supports implementation of interactive research, experimentation, and testing with a focus on improving the user interface of digital solutions in the healthcare industry. The UI/X Designer responsibilities include bridging medical device, mobile and cloud computing experiences.
