Manager Notes:
  • Our ideal candidate will be an experienced SAP HCM analyst with a good all round knowledge and understanding and experience of SAP HCM and SuccessFactors (LMS and Recruitment).
  • Any experience managing projects involving the following HR modules is a plus: OM, PA, BENEFITS, COMPENSATION MANAGEMENT, ESS/Client.
The ability to engage with senior managers to provide advice and timely solutions across the range of the team's work is essential as are excellent all round communication skills and experience of contributing to large projects with organization-wide importance.
Candidate must have proven track record of managing full end to end HRIS Projects. 
It is desirable that you will have experience of working across the following system areas: OM (Organization Management) and PA (Personnel Administration) modules, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, and compensation.  Solid understanding of IT systems including system design, databases, and programming concepts is required.  
Experience in gathering and analysing business requirements
Job Description:
  • Manage the team of HR functional consultants within the IT organization that work on SAP and non-SAP HR projects.  It will involve being a functional consultant on some of the HR projects, a majority of which are related to SAP HR.
•  SAP HR and People management
•  10 years overall SAP HR experience.
•  Recent work experience managing implementations of SAP HR modules, experience managing projects for a large, multi-state corporate environment involving cross module dependencies and 3rd party system integrations.
•  Previous functional background with good knowledge of OM, PA, compensation management, talent management and ESS/Client in a SAP ECC 6.0 environment. 
•  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•  Must be a driver but diplomatic with demonstrated success working with all levels within a corporation.
  • Oversees an assigned technology, major system, or functional area and the associated application development/support.
  • Assigns personnel to various activities, supervises and approves their activities, and provides performance feedback.
  • Participates in and directs the preparation of all requirements/specifications, estimates, system designs and new systems.
  • Represents the Company in dealing with vendors of third party systems.
  • Performs research and makes recommendations on software technology direction.
  • Ensures that quality support is provided to customers and clients.
  • Assists in projecting software and hardware requirements for project and functional requirements.
  • Identifies project deliverables and manages applications deployment.
  • Consults with IT staff on administrative policies and procedures, technical issues, priorities and method.
  • Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities in an assigned area.
  • Produces White Papers on specific company application technologies and how they can be leveraged .
  • Under broad direction, responsible for overseeing the following functional areas, technology, major system, (e.g., process simulation, document management, payroll, etc.) and the development/acquisition, maintenance, and/or support of application(s) in that area.
  • Influence the assignment of personnel to various activities and provide performance feedback.
  • Leads and participates in the preparation of all requirements/specifications, estimates, system designs, and completed systems, and ensures that quality support is provided to customers and clients, often involves performing project setups, analyses, designs, etc., for/with customers.
  • Similar duties are often associated with the selection, acquisition, installation and configuration of applications licensed from third parties, and interaction with vendors is often required.
  • Researches and makes recommendations on software technology direction.
  • Prepare activity and progress reports for management and enforces compliance with administrative policies and procedures.
  • Position is considered and expert relative to the applications and work processes in one or more technology/functional areas and is capable of addressing the most complex issues, and representing the organization in dealings with internal customers and clients.
  • Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
  • Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center's viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.
  • Job role contributes directly to value creation.
Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in CS, MIS, BA, or Engineering and 12 years of experience or 16 years in Systems Development and/or Applications Support which includes experience in Analysis, Design, Programming, Product Selection, Support and/or Maintenance.
