Microsoft Dynamics CRM Technical Analyst

Client is looking for a CRM Technical Analyst- Microsoft Dynamics

Local candidates are preferred, but open to nonlocal candidates who can relocate on their own.
This is ideally contract to hire, but open to considering a straight contract as well
The Technical Systems Analyst is part of a team responsible for the development and administration of the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).   The CRM Business Systems analyst will participate in the evaluation, design, development, testing, and deployment of new application features, and also provide support, assisting business users with CRM issues.

  • Collaborate with internal business users to translate business requirements into functional/technical requirements based on system capabilities and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that system changes meet business requirements and undergo adequate end-user testing.
  • Provide project communications to all types of stakeholders verbally and through written means.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of business processes supported by the software.
Systems Analysis and Development
  • Gain a detailed understanding of software capabilities and limitations.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements consistent with other applications and industry best practices.  Enhancements include system configuration (new entities, fields, relationships, screen changes, workflows, etc.), data management, reports, vendor software enhancements, and custom software development. 
  • Document system changes and processes for other IT staff and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with IT staff and outside vendors.

Support and maintenance
  • Provide support as required to assist business users with CRM issues. 
  • Configure application security.
  • Install and test application updates.
  • Use debugging tools for troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot and fix data integrity issues.
  • Troubleshoot occasional issues outside the realm of day-to-day responsibilities and suggest solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS (Management in Information Systems) or related discipline
  • 4+ years Business or Systems Analyst Experience
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Customization (User Experience a Plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer orientation
  • Experience and passion for collaboration, particularly with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of project management fundamentals
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
