 Required Skills :

Server side technologies such as Spring or Spring Boot

We are partnering with a major entertainment Company in Santa Monica, CA to identify a Solutions Architect with experience in Java applications & cloud environments. This team is building a new contact manager platform and needs someone who can design it completely from scratch. You will need to lead a team of 4 and make decisions on which CI, CD, and testing tools to select.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of clients business areas such as Talent Development Deal/Contract Management
Partner with other teams and subject matter experts to understand requirements and dependencies between systems
Evaluate solutions including third-party and custom-built solutions that best fit the business need
Ensuring the alignment of enterprise IT architecture with agreed business outcomes and IT strategy, based on relevant IT architecture enterprise principles and frameworks
Provide a clear technical vision and lead engineering teams in implementing architecturally and strategically sound solutions
Document and articulate solutions for both a business and a technical audience
 
 
Requirements:
 
Strong communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel
Proven expertise in architecting and implementing scalable, distributed, and highly-available systems on AWS as well as on-premise datacenters
Hands-on experience in evaluating, customizing, and integrating with third-party solutions and services
Hands-on experience in implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event driven architectures
Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Spring Boot and front-end frameworks such as AngularJS
Familiar with Application Integration to Packaged Application ERP Oracle EBS
Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts for RDBMS' such as Oracle as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Deep knowledge of domain-driven design, UML, and design patterns
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and tools such as Jenkins
Background in media industry and talent contract management desirable
Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical experience
