Our DFW client is seeking an Application Analyst / Onbase consultant for a long term contract opportunity.
Specific Summary:
  • Support business users in the use of Commercial Applications and related SQL and/or Oracle databases and systems.
  • ECM-Onbase experience.
General Summary:
  • Responsible for delivery and support of third party packaged applications and related SQL and/or Oracle databases.
  • Work closely with internal customers to understand business needs and requirements, and implement appropriate information technology solutions.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with other IT groups and resources to deliver seamless support to customers. Participate in larger project implementations and tracking of information via Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Support work to include the diagnosis and resolution of application, database and related data issues. Responsibilities include vendor communications, installations, testing, documentation, and the diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Perform work of increasingly complex size, scope and impact.
  • Demonstrate increased technical skills and the ability to recommend and implements solutions.
  • Proactively support, upgrade and maintain technology in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. Install, document, test, program / script, and troubleshoot applications and databases on Windows, Citrix, and/or Linux systems.
  • Perform work of increasingly complex size, scope and impact.
  • Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, integration methodologies and project management.
  • Demonstrate increased technical skills and the ability to recommend and implements solutions.
  • Provide support for budgeted and unplanned projects. Participate in larger project implementations.
  • Maintain the employee productivity.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Manage vendor relationships and control cost escalation.
  • Effectively work across IT teams to provide support for IT initiatives such as ITOE, Policies and Procedures and disaster recovery.
  • Preferred experience with SABA or other Learning Management system; experience with Taleo Enterprise or other Applicant Tracking System (ATS).; Experience with UltiPro or other HRIS system.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or will consider applicable work experience as it translates to an equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years' related experience is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Any skills with SQL, Windows, Citrix, and/or Linux would be helpful.
  • Training or experience in databases and scripting or programming is preferred.
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must show a demonstrated desire to learn.
