Job Description :
Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst to support an Enterprise Government Integrator in Washington DC.  This Analyst will join a very collaborative technical team responsible for new development, enhancements and support of high visibility program.  As a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst on this team you'll be a part of a new development for an extremely large effort.  Please see below for specific skillsets and responsibilities. 
 
Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst Job Description:
  • Drafts/reviews and maintains SDLC documentation.; Conducts/leads PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 upgrade effort.
  • Defines/directs definition of test scenarios and scripts.
  • Proposes options to fill gaps through product configuration, customizations/extensions, or third-party products.
  • Identifies and documents gaps between requirements and COTS.
  • Conducts/leads demos, conference room pilots, and fit/gap sessions.
  • Conducts/leads requirements elicitation, capture, and management.    
  • Serves as the lead functional ERP consultant and performs that role with minimal direction.
  • Understands configuration and integration between major functional areas.
  • Translates customer requirements into a best fit within the application, and develops processes and documentation that support the SDLC.
  • Contributes to the overall strategic vision, and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding implementation and support.
  • Undertakes implementation and support projects involving single disciplines, and may impact multiple business units.
  • Complies with approved SDLC processes and is responsible for all related SDLC artifacts.
  • Documents system processes and requirements traceability.
 Requirements for Senior PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst:
  • BS or equivalent + 9 yrs related experience, or MS + 7 yrs related experience
  • In-depth knowledge of core PeopleSoft HCM and Global Payroll, version 9.1 and 9.2.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and conducting PS fit/gap sessions.
  • Ability to facilitate understanding of existing and new functionality, identification and resolution for areas where business processes depart from delivered PeopleSoft 9.1 and 9.2 software solutions and to recommend best practices from past experience.
  • Experience with all phases of ERP application development including requirements analysis, fit/gap, design, development, test and deployment.
  • Experience with all phases of application testing including unit, system, integration, parallel and user acceptance.
  • Experience supporting PS 9.2 upgrade strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of military human resources and payroll processes strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage expectations under shifting and/or changing priorities
