Service Readiness Testing Lead

Role: 
This role will work with our overall testing lead to develop the strategy and manage the Service Readiness testing stream for a Global Human Capital Management initiative. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the success of the service readiness testing work
  • Develop the service readiness testing strategy and approach, and secure sign off from Service Delivery Lead, impacted stakeholders, etc.
  • Work with Service Delivery Lead and service providers to develop test scenarios and document test scripts
  • Document environment requirements, and work with Testing Lead, Service Delivery Lead, Technology Lead and other system owners to ensure testing environments are set up including access for testers
  • Direct the service readiness testing activities on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage testing defect process including timely remediation
  • Work with Service Delivery Lead to ensure processes are updated as needed and resources trained on any changes
  • Enforce testing compliance with project standards and templates
  • Sign off on all test plans and test reports, and secure sign off from functional owners, impacted stakeholders, etc.
  • Identify, escalate and resolve service readiness testing  issues, and escalate issues to the Testing Lead that may impact project milestones
  • Prepare and submit weekly status report for workstream
  • Involvement in prototype reviews for purposes of getting up to speed on the solution and design prior to developing test scenarios
  • Involvement in the design and set up of the Global Service Delivery Model
 
 
 
Key Skills/Considerations  
  • Should be versed in solution implementation procedures to provide guidance on requirements for a potential audit of testing results
 
  • Willing and able to travel internationally and work across multiple time zones
 
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and manage across multiple businesses and third party vendors in the US and outside of the US
 
  • Previous experience in a similar role
 
  • Knowledge of HR Services and Workday or other cloud HCM solutions a plus
