Scope of Work:
Cloud Solution Architect: Ability to convert business requirements to Cloud solutions. Help educate teams to migrate and develop new cloud applications. Possess Strong Cloud Implementation Experience in Cloud architecture/design, compute/storage services. Understand multi-datacenter/multi-zone based designs. Ability to think/provide solutions utilizing best practices for resiliency, scalability, resource utilization identification methodologies.

Prudential Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME): Provide cloud integration development support to the business unit and corporate function development teams. This will include an in-depth knowledge of all Prudential's cloud infrastructure capabilities and services related to the business unit domain(s).

Standards, Best Practices and Patterns: identify and maintain proven practices that facilitate optimal leveraging of cloud technology and facilitate cloud integration goals for business units. Includes common cloud development patterns, naming guidelines, etc -- formulated from real-world experiences, industry sources, vendors and ongoing business consulting engagements.

Cross-BU Collaboration & Knowledge Management: assist in the creation and maintenance of an Enterprise Cloud development community and body of knowledge at Prudential.

Utility Services & Reusable Asset Library: Identify opportunities to build and document components, code or other assets that can be leveraged by project teams. Includes value-added infrastructure services that are non-BU specific and might otherwise be redundantly developed and maintained by each area.

External Platform Integration Consulting: provide solution guidance to help areas integrate with external platforms. Includes: 1) Integrating in B2B/B2C scenarios, 2) with external Cloud platforms and 3) Providing/Consuming SOAP web services or RESTful (Web API) services to/with partners

Problem and Incident Resolution Consulting: assist Lines of Business and GBTS service provider in resolving problems and incidents as needed. Level-3 support for complex problems

Skills/Qualifications Required:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working in building solutions and applications across multiple technology areas
  • Experience with enterprise scalable applications in Amazon Web Services cloud. Along with a strong understanding of AWS tools.
  • Experience with designing, developing, and implementing complex integration for end-to-end solutions at a middleware level with focus on performance optimization
  • Experience in delivering solutions in web, digital, and mobile
  • Experience with DevOps delivery automation and configuration
  • Practical experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with digital analytics, business intelligence and experience management having the required skills in predictive modeling, visualization and tag management
  • Strong knowledge of API/Web services (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, SOAP, and REST), JMS, MQ, MFT, and transfer protocols (http, ftp, etc.) required
  • Must have familiarity technologies like JavaScript, Ajax, and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., AngularJS, jQuery, NodeJS)
  • Experience implementing solutions using a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) approaches including security, service registry and governance processes
  • Ability to review functional requirements and determine the type of integration work that is needed based on the business needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Knowledge of Big Data architecture and technology offerings
  • Ability to quickly perform proof-of-concepts for validating new technology or approach
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology and/or integrating with diverse application systems
  • Ability to lead and drive technology change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and all phases of the entire software life cycle
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
