 Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and maintaining IVR and integration components.  They will perform development and maintenance of complex, large-scale IVR applications; create and document system requirements(including VUIs and call flows), develop and implement test plans, develop and deploy application code for new functionality, modify and maintain current application code, adhere to standard software development life cycle processes used within the organization, evaluate and provide recommendations for alternate technologies, and provide 24x7x365 production support.  They will be required to communicate with business partners, systems partners, vendors, and internal team members, and will perform related duties as assigned or requested.  
 

Qualifications:
This position requires:
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to troubleshoot with minimal assistance
Exposure to, and experience with, systems requirements analysis and design
Development skills in Java, JSP, and XML 
Proficiency in VXML, Speech Recognition, and Text to Speech
BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
Working knowledge of AIX/Unix or Linux operating systems
Experience with IVR application development (Avaya experience preferred)
Knowledge of IVR platforms (Avaya AEP preferred)
Experience with Nuance Speech Suite (preferred)
Experience using IBM RAD environment (preferred)
Unix Shell Programming (preferred)
Experience with IVR / Telephony /CTI integration (preferred)
Working understanding of general telephony / PBX administration (Avaya Aura Communication Manager)/ SIP (preferred)
Knowledge of relational databases (preferred)
Experience with AGILE, JIRA, Confluence (preferred)
