• Conjugation of small molecules to enzymes, proteins and peptides for production of reagents for ELISA / HEIA / SEFRIA and other product platforms.
• Small molecule enzyme conjugation for design development of HEIA and / or ELISA reagents.
• Purification of enzyme conjugates using gel filtration chromatography, dialysis and HPLC.
• In-process testing of ELISA, HEIA and SEFRIA enzyme conjugates using absorbance readers and / or chemistry analyzers.
• Assists in transfer and qualification of analytical methods, including assay execution and final report writing.
• Complies with SOP's.
• Analyzes and maintains data per applicable SOP's.
• Documents activities in a cGMP manner.
• Performs investigation and resolution of out-of-spec events.
• Prepares reagents and solutions as necessary to conduct analyses.
• Performs routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Performs daily refrigerator temperature monitoring.
• Works as part of inter-departmental teams, if required.
• Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies.
• Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of the Company Quality Management System per ISO, FDA and other regulatory agencies.
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
• Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities.

Preferred Educational Background:

• B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 3-5 years experience or M.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry with 2+ years experience in a laboratory.

• Detail oriented.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer skills – Microsoft Windows and Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
