Job Summary

Company is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Equity to support the Equity Administration team in San Francisco. The Sr. Analyst, Equity will report to the Manager of Equity Administration and will be responsible for all day-to-day aspects of equity administration. This individual will also work closely with the HR team as well and the Payroll teams to monitor the daily activities for payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be part of a small but strong team who administers the company's many equity programs for all employees in the U.S. and globally
  • Assist efforts to grow and scale the stock administration function, including but not limited to enhancing existing manual processes, automating processes and evaluating service providers
  • Be able to take ownership of assigned projects and complete them with the highest attention to detail
  • Build close relationships with the company's Legal, Payroll, Talent, Financial Reporting, Tax, Communications and other teams, as necessary
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, management and business partners
  • Support employee understanding of equity awards and Company programs and policies including building out new mediums to educate our employees
  • Continually striving to automate routine work streams and manual processes to enable efficient, accurate and timely processing of equity award data
  • Prepare custom reports within Certent and Excel, and perform complex reconciliations to review accuracy of equity and transaction data
  • Maintain supporting workbooks for internal/external SOX auditors and respond accurately, thoroughly and timely to auditor requests for data
  • Help build out processes to accurately and efficiently deliver stock-related sections of 10Qs, 10Ks and Proxy Statements
  • Perform complex mobility tax calculations
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects and reporting as requested

Qualifications and Abilities

  • Pre- and post- IPO experience highly desired
  • 5+ years of senior-level experience in administration of global equity programs
  • Minimum CEP Level II required
  • Expertise with global equity programs, multiple equity award types, and transaction volume
  • Experience working directly with Certent and Fidelity Stock Plans and other major third-party equity software systems and brokerage firms
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Energy, enthusiasm and follow-up skills necessary to drive results
  • Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, deadline-oriented, have a keen attention to detail, and can complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion, independently with minimal supervision
  • An effective communicator using any medium with a variety of levels of internal employees, business partners, external vendors, etc.
  • A compliance and process-oriented individual who is also flexible and can excel in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
  • Willing and able to get your "hands dirty " and process transactions manually
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and ability to complete projects timely and accurately
