Job Description:

  • What will be the day-to-day activities for this role?
Supporting Director with calendaring, travel, expenses, budgeting, and issues as they arise.
  • Is there any potential for extension and/or conversion to FTE (please clarify which applies)?
  • Direct executive level support of the client Director, Public Policy who manages all client Public Policy activity for North and South America (Canada, the US, and Latin America).
  • This position also provides support the client Americas Public Policy team reporting to this Director.
Services to be performed
  • This role will support the Director of client Public Policy with administrative tasks, such as travel coordination, new hire onboarding, meeting coordination, expenses, and calendaring.
  • The role will also assist with internal and external reports and filings, including using Salesforce and SharePoint resources.
  • Finally, this role will support the growing Federal and state & local team on project-based matters related to external engagement, political contributions, and regular correspondence with outside consultants.
  • The position requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently multitask.
  • Client Public Policy team requires a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company, and importantly, a good sense of humor.
Required skills
  • This position will work closely with other assistants throughout the team and across the rest of the company.
  • Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgment
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and SharePoint
