Internal Communications Manager

Duties:

Content
Drives content strategy with appropriate voice and tone (writes, edits, proofreads, produces visuals) that support global communication initiatives
Sets example for team on proper use of and streamlined approach to the content hub and global system
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication (clear and culturally relevant, inspiring, thoughtful and empathetic, transparent)
Creates stories to communicate Business news through the lens of mission and values
Leads investigative conversations with leaders and subject matter experts
Designs resources for partners and the team
Owns strategy for at least one key internal channel
Is a role model of Business acumen
Creates strategic narratives for leaders and executives through the lens of mission and values
Designs messaging, sequencing, approach, and feedback loops for:M&A
sensitive change management
org change
product/campaign launches
program rollouts
Seeks in-country perspective and feedback

Strategic Planning and Comms Guidance for the Company, Businesses, Functions, and Enabling Teams
Designs and executes Internal Comms strategy including the design of a channel and cascade system within multiple assigned Businesses, Functions, and/or Enabling Team(s)
Partners with leaders to go from strategy to execution, to build a roadmap for milestones, and to drive execution
Cascades information consistently and at the right times
Partners with External Comms on work that requires integrated comms plans (policy, PR, social)
Produces content representing the Business's story in channel and content system
Partners with Junior Comms to guide content, comms planning, etc.
Draws on strategic insight from analysis and effectively summarizes and presents based on the needs of the audience

Designs and execute events

Leads all-hands strategy and execution for assigned groups: narrative development, presenter, coach, partnership with team coordinators on event production and slides

Develops GC strategic projects
 
 
Project Management
Oversees wide scope of Internal Comms projects for assigned Business and/or large Function(s); is highly proficient in project management
Oversees project timelines, budgets, etc., for own work
Expertly uses complex project management tools and help others on team to adopt and use suite of tools proficiently
Manages diverse stakeholders including cross-Functional partners and leaders
