Description:
Computer/Electrical Engineer

Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm
OT is expected

Scope of position:

Provide support for the manufacture of World-Class, High-Precision, Optical Systems.
This is an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to develop
measurement and analysis tools used to evaluate quality, optimize performance and
insure compliance to specifications of complex optical systems. This individual would
work with both development and manufacturing engineers in specifying, developing,
building and maintaining complex test systems for use in both engineering and
production environments.

Day to Day Responsibilities
- Develop software applications to automate test applications, acquire, analyze and
store data in a production environment
- Specify/Design/Assemble/Test/Document optical test bench automation and
control systems. This includes motors, detectors, cameras, data acquisition and
timing circuitry and associated wiring and cable assemblies for prototype and
production benches
- Responsibilities include work in cleanroom and molecular cleanroom
environments.

Qualifications:
Required Education
:
- BS in Computer, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering

Required Years of experience: 0-3

Desired Skills

 LabWindows/CVI
 Knowledge of optics and image processing
 Understanding of digital camera technologies
 Database experience
 Familiarity with Linux/Unix

Manager Must Haves:
- Strong organizational skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- C/C++; Matlab
- Familiarity with basic electronics and measurements using test equipment such as
DMMs and Oscilloscopes
- Read and understand schematics
- Familiarity with motors and control systems
- Understanding of data acquisition hardware and software
- Mathematical analysis skills
