Sr. Financial Analyst - US Immunology Controlling
Sanofi Genzyme Rheumatoid Arthritis, Atopic Dermatitis & Asthma Business Unit


Position reports to:
Head of US Immunology Controlling

Business Partners:
US Immunology Controlling team, Marketing and Sales Team for US Dermatology and US Asthma

Location:
Cambridge, MA

Missions and objectives:
  • Assist in quarterly forecasts and annual budget processes including uploading plans into TM1 and Essbase, validating data, generating reports and updating PowerPoint slides for both internal costs as well as full Alliance plans for the US RA, Dermatology and Asthma businesses
  • Support the month end close process including but not limited to working on month end accruals in PRISM systems and ensuring SAP properly reflects these accruals.
  • Ensure project trackers are updated properly for monthly actuals.
  • Generate month end close reports including P&Ls, OpEx reports by cost center, variance analysis and tactical detail project expense reports both internally and across the Alliance
  • Update US headcount reporting, reconcile vacancies,
  • Expert on financial systems including SAP, TM1 and Procurement system
  • Prepare and post month end journal entries in accordance with Accounting Policies and Procedures when needed
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accrual accounts
  • Provide assistance to the US Finance Team on a variety of complex, cross-functional, ad hoc projects and requests as needed


Requirements:
  • The position requires a Finance or Accounting degree and 5 years or more experience in finance or related disciplines with exposure
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power-Point required
  • Experience with Management Reporting Systems
  • Controlling experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Full understanding of financial concepts and Controlling including experience in Revenues and Expense controlling
  • Knowledge of Hyperion, TM1 Cognos
  • The ability to work in fast paced environment and within a complex, matrix organization
  • Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of management
