AirSupport Media Technician

Media Productions Specific:

Live video and event support
  • Production of company events and meetings, to include
    • Webcast productions for internal events
    • Training videos and meeting recordings
  • Help with coordinating and scheduling productions using our standard ingest solution
  • Media management from recording to encoding
  • Operate video switching equipment during live webcasts
  • Initiate and monitor webcast encoder hardware during live webcasts
  • Upload recorded content to be viewed by the company
  • Setup AV equipment as needed for Events
  • Setup confidence monitors
  • Support presentations and Webex conference calls
  • QC events as they happen to ensure quality recordings
  • Maintain the video control room and media equipment
    • Maintain for organization and readiness
    • Track equipment repair and maintenance requests with maintenance vendor
  • Global video production support
    • Maintain the post-production workstation
    • Capture, storage and processing of company video
  • Basic editing of company video (guidance provided)
Airsupport Specific:
  • Presentation support for large meetings
  • Video conference support for large and medium meetings
  • Daily conference room sweeps for presentation/UC system testing
  • "White Glove” support for executive level meetings, as needed
  • Monitor, update, and maintain tickets in the defined ticketing system.
    • Respond to tickets, contact users and plan workload based off a pre-defined SLA.
    • Take Support calls and monitor Slack escalation channels.
    • Update tickets with the latest status.
    • Escalate tickets to the correct group if the incident cannot be resolved.
    • Close tickets that have been resolved
    • Troubleshoot software in the standard software and 3rd party applications.
    • Support IT Field Support Team as required
  • Experience with live production/broadcasts
  • Familiarity with setting up SDI, XLR, and HDMI equipment
  • Perform Routine inspections of Event Space equipment
  • Ability to operate PTZ and handheld cameras on a tripod
  • Operate basic audio mixer
  • Basic knowledge of lighting, color balancing/matching cameras (and in post), and capturing audio
  • Basic knowledge of audio and video editing on Adobe suite or other NLE software
  • Experience with BlackMagic ATEM software/hardware (or similar video equipment)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and setup production equipment per event
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds un - aided
  • Must be comfortable reporting to a remote (SF & Dublin) team, as well as local IT manager
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks and appropriately escalate issues when needed
