Business Intelligence Engineer II

Job Description:
Two web based metrics deck will be created with real time metrics including: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and ROI metrics. This will include multiple filters to drill down for actionable insights. The back end data and front end data visualization (UI) will need to be designed & built. Metrics will be in table and graph/chart format. One deck will be for stakeholders and one will be for internal team program management. A standard work document will be created for our team to maintain the reporting. Our team trained on the SW steps to maintain.

Required skills
>Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar
> Demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
>5+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational/business planning or advanced degree
>4+ years' advanced experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
>A strong ability with designing elegant customer experiences and improving product usability
>4+ years' advanced project management experience
>Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
>Advanced-level understanding and practical knowledge Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms
>Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
>Superior verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively with multiple teams
>Previous experience working with Client

Six-Sigma / Lean methodology knowledge and experience
Process excellence certification (PMI, PMP)

• 8-5 9-6 onsite schedule
TYPICAL DAY
• Two web based metrics deck will be created with real time metrics including categories of: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and ROI metrics. These categories will include a variety of individual metrics that have multiple filters to drill down for actionable insights. The data to create the reports comes from multiple sources and in some cases must be combined. Additionally, some of the data requires manual inputs and those inputs can change YOY. The back end data and front end data visualization (UI) will need to be designed & built. Metrics will be in table and graph/chart format. One deck will be for stakeholders and one will be for internal team program management. A standard work document will be created for our team to maintain the reporting. Our team trained on the standard work steps to maintain.
REMOTE WORK
• Flexibility to work from home on an as needed basis but needs to be onsite
CONVERSION/EXTENSION
• Not a conversion. Very limited possibility of an extension.

• This team supports a unique to Client program for Senior leaders that recently received funding for international expansion. We received funding for expansion based on data we are capturing based on program impact. We are a gold standard program that has served as model for other program designs. We desperately need automated metrics decks to help us scale and continue to invest our time in creating value for our customers.
