Job Description:
This position is to join our Mainframe Support area as Implementation Conversion Analyst and will participate in supporting numerous Mainframe-related projects designed to modernize our Mainframe operations.

Job Summary:

The Implementation Conversion Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day planning and management of each EFT project they are assigned. This includes all parts of the project, including but not limited to gathering business requirements for the our products sold and analyzing how these our products can meet the financial institution's needs. The analyst will conduct weekly status calls and provide appropriate documentation including distribution of outstanding items or other needed information, create a project plan or project timeline, establish and track project milestones, and maintain all appropriate lead times for third party vendors and/or our performing areas. The analyst will strive to enhance the customer's implementation experience through operational and service excellence. Obtain high client satisfaction levels thru effective communication, responsiveness, relationship management, and strong execution. Demonstrate effective written and/or verbal communications to the client, in meetings, one-on-one situations, and group situations. Technical communication should be clear, concise and relayed in a professional manner that is understood by the client and other project participants. Set realistic client expectations and manage the project to those expectations. Influence other teams and individuals to cooperate and contribute to the successful completion of a project. Follow-up and respond to all communication (external and internal) in a timely manner (i.e. within 48 hours). Manage client issues and concerns to client's satisfaction and to prevent escalation to upper management and keep direct manager informed of potential escalations.

Project Description:

The project is to change the endpoint within the organization for over 1,800 customers with a mixture of FTPS, Connect Direct, and internal FTP transmissions. Activities will include verifying if files are available, coordination with customers and other internal groups, customer transmission validation, development and maintaining of migration schedule.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify that files are available for transmission from new location
• Coordinate customer transmission migration to a different location (server)
• Perform transmission validation with customer
• Coordinate changes with other support groups
• Validate that transmission change was successful
• Maintain and publish status of customer migrations to new location
• Determine migration schedule based on file availability and customer readiness

Technical Knowledge
Familiar with the following:
• z/OS knowledge to verify that files are available
• File Transfer Protocol with SSL - mainframe
• Connect Direct (NDM) with SSL
• TCP/IP and general networking
• Skilled at creating Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio diagrams
