Job Description:
The Exchange Admin will assist in the management of the full technical environment of the client Microsoft Windows, Active Directory environments including support a multi-site Microsoft Exchange organization, administer and support multi domain Active Directory Services and support Windows based servers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operational administration of on premise Exchange 2013 environment
  • Provide support for the email and AD environments, as well as Windows related issues.
  • Perform general system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment monitor Windows servers and troubleshoot problems.
  • Support, maintain and administer third party applications including but not limited to, Source One and Discovery manager, and produce appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration and related processes.
  • The selected candidate will provide a point of escalation and support to the Desktop Support Group.

Further the Exchange Administrator will:
  • Enforce change management and compliance processes
  • Work as a technical resource on assigned projects with testing and response. Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
  • Respond to each inquiry, whether from a customer, vendor or co-worker in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the Authority's "Driven by Customer Service” quality standard

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting mobile e-mail devices and security, experience supporting, maintaining and administering core Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, effective organizational.
  • Analytical, multi-tasking , time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel or PowerPoint applications.

Further the candidate must:
  • Effectively communicate with customers, employee and vendors, have excellent customer service speaking, writing and presentation skills.
  • Have a satisfactory work record including employment, job performance, discipline and safety records

Preferred Skills:
  • Administration of VmWare ESX servers, Exchange on-line, Client Blade technologies
  • EMC SAN environment
