Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
Off-shift hours as required to process critical purchases 

Scope of Position: Provide parts management for research melting operations at SP 
Day to Day Responsibilities: 

• Maintain inventories above critical levels and add new items as required 
• Purchase parts and services using People-soft purchasing system and credit card 
• Process requests from melting operations personnel for new and existing equipment 
• Communicate progress and concerns with affected research melting personnel 
• Correspond with vendors to receive quotes, place purchases, and ensure delivery 
• Manage storage, tracking, and inventory of spare parts 
• Perform routine inventories of critical spare parts 
• Support 5S activities 
• Support project to upgrade our spare parts tracking system 
• Participate on teams involved in new equipment to assure spare parts needs are addressed 
• Lead research melting audits to Client and address spare parts gaps 
• Ship items out as required 
• Support Global Labs as required: Gather info, submit req, track deliveries 

Education and Experience (minimum required for consideration) 
• High School Diploma/GED
