Summary of Responsibilities:
The summary is a brief overview of the job’s main purpose and major activities.
The qualified Senior Project Manager candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of meeting and event planning experience. They should be extremely self-motivated, driven, committed and a dedicated team player with the flexibility to manage many types of programs with different client personalities. They will also have the ability to work independently on a variety of programs with a working knowledge of budgeting, contracting, planning and financial process.
Essential Functions Required for Job
— 5+ Years Meeting or Event Planning Experience to include:
Hotel contract management
Full service pre-event and on-site planning:
Menu and décor planning
Liaison to multiple vendors
AV/Production liaison
Attendee registration
Rooming list management
Transportation/Manifest management
Other Vendor sourcing and contract negotiation
On-site operation including staff management
Essential Function % of Time
Full-service Meeting Planning to include: 70%
Hotel contract management
Full service pre-event planning:

Rooming list management
Transportation/Manifest management
Other Vendor sourcing and contract negotiation
Financial Accountability:
Budget management and program reconciliation 20%
Communication with clients at all levels of organizations, written and conversational 10%

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
— Proficient Computer Skills – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Database Management (Cvent or other industry attendee management software)
— Effective, Professional Business Communication Skills, - written, presentation, client contact
