In this key role of Financial Analyst for our Ion Chromatography / Sample Preparation (ICSP) global business unit, you will be responsible for the analysis of financial reports, trends and opportunities, relating to business opportunities, investments, financial projects, and programs for a business unit.
Your responsibilities will include:Provide finance support to the Marketing and R&D business partners and manage spend across these teams
Execute the monthly forecasting process for assigned organizations – G&A, Marketing, and R&DPrepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against the strategic plan, budget, and forecast to aid stakeholders in external financial decisions.
Actively interpret and review financial results with business managers, including trends/issues and opportunities, to drive actionable responses.
Perform analysis that aids in the decision making process, helps improve profitability, and identifies new business opportunities.
onitor monthly progress against budgets/targets and work with managers to ensure accountability.
Participate in the strategic and business planning process from a financial perspective. Generate budgets that incorporate strategic business plan objectives and incorporate appropriate assumptions.
Execute the monthly forecasting process for assigned division, category, and cost centers
This position will be based in Sunnyvale, CA
Requirements
Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration or likewise, CPA a plus
At least 1 year of experience, strong preference for successful record in Financial Planning and Analytics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines plus ability to navigate large amount of information
Team player attitude, solid positive energy and confidence
Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skillsSAP (or major ERP) experience strongly preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills required
