Job Description:
  • Support the Contracts Coordinator in processing and recording the company's contracts, and assisting with other aspects of the contracting process. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with good organizational and computer skills. • Assist with processing of contracts for signature through coordination with other departments
  • Enter data and contracts into the contracts database
  • Interact with internal departments and vendors with respect to various contracts inquiries.
  • Assist the Contracts Coordinator and attorneys with special projects, as neede
  • Although not required, a paralegal certificate a plus
  • Prior experience in professional office environment required
  • Attention to detail a must and the ability to triage work a necessity
  • High proficiency in MS Word required; database experience not required but preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • High degree of professionalism in a client-service-focused setting.
  • Ability to work sensitively with confidential material.
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization, including senior management

Key responsibilities:
  • Ability to draft amendments, consulting agreements and send out contract templates with guidance from attorneys
  • Ability to work diligently and efficiently within both the legal and procurement systems as contracts make their way through review and approval in both systems
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume work flow requiring the ability to quickly assimilate two on-line systems
  • Enter data and contracts into the contracts database timely and accurately
  • Making sure contracts in the legal database are tied back to the procurement system
  • Interact with internal departments and vendors with respect to various contracts inquiries
