Job Description:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the product approval process. This position supports the Publishing team with general office duties, publishing planning, embargo information, asset schedules, product development, product launches, and marketing initiatives. The Project Coordinator manages the organization of special projects for all brand initiatives, including retail specific and national promotions.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage the publishing planning process including but not limited to: receiving publishing plan submissions from licensees, collecting feedback from creative and territory managers, and delivering feedback to licensees with any applicable notes.
  • Manage the product approval process including but not limited to: preparing and organizing approval meetings, collecting submissions from licensees for approval, routing submissions to creative and the territory managers for approval, and delivering feedback to licensee with any applicable notes.
  • Receiving and logging-in submissions for approval.
  • Previewing all submissions for marketing and creative changes before presenting to the Marketing and Creative Managers.
  • Verifying submissions have incorporated requested changes.
  • Following-up on all changes with licensees.
  • Manage all communication between licensee and licensor regarding approvals, product samples, style guides, asset availability, embargo information, line lists and marketing commitments
  • Interface between Consumer Products Licensing and other COMPANY divisions to initiate and secure brand trademark and copyright clearance.
  • Partner with various brand and entertainment teams to build and maintain embargo calendar for any publishing titles related to entertainment and/or product releases.
  • Ensure consumer product safety testing and compliance (CPI)
  • Organize new licensee orientations specific to the approval process
  • Organize meetings and schedules for licensee visits
  • Maintain product archives (samples and storage)

Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
