Duties: Job Summary: This role will be responsible for identifying and tracking potential candidates for recruitment using a variety of strategies and resources. The Contract Recruiter proactively searches and contacts potentially qualified candidates for screening and matching skill sets to open positions. The Contract Recruiter works directly with hiring managers and department leaders to fully understand the attributes and skills required to effectively and efficiently perform the duties and responsibilities of a given position. Job Responsibilities: • Establish recruiting requirements by reviewing job descriptions/ qualifications, studying organization plan and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies • Builds candidate pipelines through a variety of sources (i.e. job posting, direct sourcing, networking, 3rd party vendors, career fairs, associations, college relations, employee referrals, etc) • Screens and prequalifies candidates through phone and face-to-face interviewing; providing hiring manager with viable candidates that best match the job requirements and qualifications • Assist in management interviews by coordinating schedules, arranging travel, lodging and providing itineraries for all parties involved • Arrange follow up meetings with interview team to determine offer • Work with hiring manager and Human Resources on offer specifics; extending offers to final candidates and managing all required paperwork • Conduct personal reference checks and assist with new hire on boarding • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintain personal networks and participating in professional organizations • Other duties/ special projects as assigned
Skills: • Bachelors Degree • Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience in a growing, fact-paced organization • Strong sourcing capabilities; creative approaches to identifying passive candidates • Experience in recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions across functions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • working knowledge of MicroSoft Office programs, ATS and job boards • Strong organizational skills and ability to complete tasks by specific deadline dates • Competitive and driven • Comfort in communication at all levels of a company • Ability to work independently and part of a team • Can Do mentality and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
