Job Description:
  • Tech lead - Allocation
  • Accountable for the technical quality of the solution. Oversees development and support efforts. Manages technical staff. Responsible for collaborating on the prioritization of technical requirements. Collaborates with peer teams and vendors on the solution and delivery. Has overall accountability for project delivery. May be responsible for leading the operational readiness testing and design. May be responsible for leading the cutover planning and execution.
Skill set:
  • Bachelor's degree. Agile experience. Experience developing large scale applications. Experience with version control and defect management systems. Understanding of apparel retailing business processes. Familiar with object oriented analysis and design.

Experience level:
  • 10+ years total with at least 3 years in technical management

Additional Job Details:
  • Target Start Date: ASAP, Back fill
  • Project Duration: 12 months
  • Work Location/Address: mission bay
  • Work Schedule: regular schedule.
  • Contract only or Contract to hire: Contract, open to convert.
  • Describe the Project / Product: PETE- allocation APP- allocating products to the stores.
  • 30% working on the code, 70% managing the team.
  • Size of the Team: will manage 15 engineers who're located in SF and Brasil.

What are the Top 3-5 Technical Skills:
  • Java, Springboot, Hadoop HBase, Azure, React 2)
  • Provide technical direction to engineers, aligning with PMs and division functionality, execute delivery technologies with quality and speed, successfully managing the budget of the project.

Alternatives to the Top 5 Technical Skills:
  • Good to have retail inventory management experience.
Top 3-5 Soft Skills:
  • Great communications, ability to multitasking and manage priority, ability to influence people. Hands-on technical, able to show problem and work with others, think outside of the box
