Promotional Event Management (PEM) Analyst intern

The Promotional Event Management team is responsible for creating a best in class promotional event experience end to end for our internal partners in marketing and sales as well as our speakers and others with whom we collaborate. Specifically, we:
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional event planning
  • Train and support field leadership
  • Promotional event reporting and analysis
  • Identify & operationalize areas of process improvement

The team is heavily focused on customer service and a willingness to work with cross-functional and cross Sanofi Genzyme Therapeutic areas. The cross-functional teams includes field representatives, marketing, IS, home office, corporate compliance and speakers. The PEM intern will be responsible for executing a number of standard reporting or organizational activities, as well as participating in the execution of PEM projects.
Duties may include the following, as well as other duties as assigned by the PEM team lead:
  • PEM Mailbox
    • Folder rules for standard emails (e.g. HSE report emails)
    • Triage PEM in-box
  • Standard reporting
    • Monitoring/transparency
    • Marketing reporting
    • SF reporting for marketing and sales
  • Facilitating the organization of Shared work drives
    • Shared Folder
    • Internal Sharepoint
    • External Sharepoint (if created)
  • Shared drive and Sharepoint organization
    • Create brand contracting folder standard
    • Collective and organize policy exceptions and monitoring requests
  • Speaker related updating
    • Remote training
    • CVs onto speaker portal
    • Bio feasibility in Veeva events by brand
  • PEM project assistance and ownership
    • Approved email
    • Virtual attendees to promotional speaker events
    • On-Line speaker nomination process
    • Launch of cemiplimab
    • Collaborating with marketing leads in oncology and/or rare disease

Requirements include:
  • A basic knowledge of excel and a willingness and aptitude to learn other business intelligence tools and systems is required.
  • Curiosity, poise and the courage to speak up and ask questions is needed to succeed in this role.
  • Focus, a strong work ethic and ability to get things done is required.
  • Prior experience in working in cross-functional teams is preferred.
