Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies
• Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
• Ability to track and remove impediments for the team as quickly as possible
• Develop metrics and reports using Rally and other tools to help the team understand its health and progress and to set goals
• Agile release planning and slotting
• Ensure early and often communication within team and clear visibility with stakeholders.
• Influencing habit changes that increase team performance at a sustainable pace
• Ability to shield the team from outside distractions and interferences
• Leading and coaching a team in growing its Agile maturity
• Coach team members to understand Scrum and the Agile Principles
• Work with product owner to ensure a well-groomed Product Backlog at all times
• Must be able to work with multiple teams.

Not looking for someone to run meetings but engage, problem solve, be aware of what's going on, and influence teams. Must have hands on experience with Agile techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of Scrum Master experience; ability to work with multiple teams.
• 5+ years hands-on Program/Project Management experience
• Past Development experience a plus
• Experience with or a solid grasp of other Lean/Agile frameworks and methods, i.e.: Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc
• Expert on Agile techniques and best practices including but not limited to: Defining User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, Continuous Delivery, Pairing, Automated Testing
• Solid understanding of Agile principles and their application in day-to-day activities
• Good prioritization, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to understand the nuances and constraints of the larger picture
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Decisive but inclusive decision making in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with light supervision
• Proficient in at least one agile project management tool: Rally, Jira, Version One, etc.
