Title: Content Writer

Role Description
  • Client is looking for a contract Content Writer to help support our Employee On-Line Knowledge Management system. This is a 2-month contract assignment.
  • A strong candidate will be responsible for creating and repurposing content for candidates, new hires, interns, existing employees and contingent workforce for consumption on line and in our help/issue resolution Knowledge Base, while maintaining brand standards and an engaging employee centric tone.

Responsibilities:
  • Working independently or with other functional areas s to write articles for consumption while keeping in brand and tone
  • Reviewing articles for grammar/technical accuracy and publishing
  • Learning about our employee segments and our functions and taking the initiative to identify and propose new content
  • Reviewing knowledge base and search analytics for targeted content creation for gaps in knowledge
  • Ensuring online content supports goals, brand standards, and legal and compliance requirements

Requirements/Skills:
  • 3+ years of professional writing experience, preferably employee facing content.
  • Experience writing for websites, including working knowledge of how online content should be optimized
  • Help create templates for ongoing content creation after assignment
  • Track progress of work to assure completion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and obsessed with quality
  • Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
  • Understanding different language styles that appeal to a "support” target market
  • Maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple content areas simultaneously, with strong attention to detail
  • Creative ability to generate content ideas
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
