  • Day to day responsibilities may include any of the following:
  • Manages negotiating, approving and executing prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
  • Facilitate, evaluate and support the implementation of multiple project specifications, drawing releases, and design changes.
  • Manages internal and external project risk reviews. Consult with Legal Department as required
  • Collaborate with project team in management of Safety & Health performance of project team members and Subcontractors
  • Report project status, risks, schedule and costs to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and review internal and external reports including: project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports
  • Manages the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Safety & Health Plan, Subcontracting Plan, Project Staffing Plan, Organization Chart, and Procurement Plan.
  • Facilitate the subcontract bid process and prepare detailed scope of work documents for Supplier and Subcontract contracts; including: recruiting, prequalifying, and selecting Subcontractors and Suppliers
  • Facilitate and oversee the Subcontractor change management and claims mitigation processes
  • Facilitate invoicing process.
  • Manages the development of the project plan for site mobilization and demobilization, support the Construction Manage or Site Manager with implementation
  • Develop, establish, and oversee the project documentation and filing systems.
  • Verify the project and Subcontractor insurance, licensures, taxes/duties, and bonding are implemented per the project requirements.
  • Facilitate the securing of applicable project permits
  • Manages project safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required.
  • Attend and participate in project and corporate meetings as needed. Generate Meeting Minutes
  • Manages the project non-conformance reporting process.
  • Manages the project turnover documentation, recordkeeping/retention, warranty and project close out processes
  • Assist with compliance of company policies as required
  • Develop relationships with Client so as to provide additional value thru cross-selling best services mix
  • Build proposals to Client for new and upcoming projects by creating value proposition
  • Grow and develop talent on the project team thru leadership, mentorship and example
  • Manage with the development of project labor agreements with building trades as required
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or other related field from accredited program. Ten years experience in construction (utilities) highly preferred. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Completion of/or ability to obtain OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 training course. Valid driver's license.
