Integration Architect
Location: Wellseley, MA
Duration: Full-time

Client is looking for an individual to lead the design and help build the foundation for critical messaging and data exchange as part of their secure private cloud solution. This includes API Gateway, SFTP and Queue infrastructure to support the data delivery needs of one of the largest firms in the financial services industry. The integration technology will also support internal data services.
The individual will be expected to ensure that the platforms are highly available, resilient, scalable and secure. This includes working with clients to facilitate capacity planning and onboarding. Monitoring of centralized, aggregated metrics should be used to drive enhancements or improvements to the services.
As part of the role, this person will be expected to work with a global team of technologist and Client's clients to support the many data integration patterns needed in support of the Client solution set.

  • 5+ years of experience as an integration architect or lead Developer
  • Messaging experience – MQSeries, JMS. Kafka
  • REST API Services development
  • Worked with SFTP infrastructure and familiarity with GlobalScape toolsets or similar
  • API Management a plus
  • API Gateway experience – OAUTH, OpenID Connect, SSO, JWT
    • WSO2, CA API Gateway, Apigee, Mashery, IBM API Connect, Mulesoft etc
  • Integration experience with various technologies
    • Integration Software
      • Any of DataStage, Informatica, Boomi, SnapLogic, Mulesoft etc
    • Integration languages
      • XSLT
      • DSL's (Apache Synapse, IBM GatewayScript etc)
  • Experience with Integration requisites
    • Data validation
    • Message libraries
    • Auditing
    • Data lineage
  • Multiple years of Java experience. Client uses
    • Spring
    • NodeJS
    • Camel
  • Worked with agile methodologies and/or SAFe framework
  • Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and basic SQL development
  • Coding or development experience with JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, or Python
  • Some experience in NoSQL database platforms is a plus (Mongo, CosmosDB, Apache Phoenix, HBase, Hadoop)
  • Familiar with public cloud service offerings and capabilities around messaging (AWS and Azure)
  • Able to work with business partners and/or co-workers to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation
  • Comfortable creating High-level design documents, presentations, and conducting training
  • Strong problem solving skills are required, as well as the ability to work closely with our operations group to ensure availability of those systems.
  • Able to work in a team environment, with mentors and collaborators available to help troubleshoot issues.
  • Some work in financial services is helpful
  • BS/CS or related field or equivalent experience; MS is a plus
