Job Description:
  • Printing labels for bottles, vials, and boxes
  • Labeling, Reagents formulation, Dispensing reagents & capping
  • Packaging and sealing small boxes.
  • Assist with production tasks on different product lines as needed.
  • Assist with storage and monitoring of inventories, products as well as in-house supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
  • Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Perform related duties as required by supervisionContacts and Relations:Will interact on a daily basis with numerous production personnel and will work side-by-side with other technicians and associates in performing packing and sorting.
Accountability:
  • Must maintain work schedule as assigned, including completion of specific tasks in a timely, safe and efficient manner.
  • All personnel are expected to notify their immediate supervisor of any unsafe conditions and/or practices and to take appropriate corrective action.
  • Temps are expected to perform only those tasks for which they have demonstrated capability, based on prior experience, education and/or training.
  • Temps must complete training tasks/functions as they are assigned.
  • Temps must update external training certifications and have certification documented by their immediate Manager/Supervison
  • Education/Training Experience:
  • Minimal requirements: 1-2 year college (AA degree) or high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Minimal requirement of general laboratory (worked in a medical/research lab) procedures.
  • Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
  • Maintain the production pace of other team members
Ability to:
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
  • Work in a laboratory environment wearing appropriate safety clothing
  • ​This position will require occasional lifting of objects including laboratory instrumentation of at least 35 lbs. This position may require standing for a long period of time.
