• Comprehensively develops and manages project budgets and drives financial accountability for delivery of all solutions.
• Works with IT Leads on coordination of RFP/RFI process for projects as required and works closely with the IT leads and Network/AV teams to execute effective selection of delivery and solutions partners.
• Develops and actively manages project plans, schedule and budget to meet deliverables.
• Maintains all reporting requirements as needed.
• Coordinates with Network and AV Leads on managing resources utilized in the project.
• Actively manages the execution of the project, including assigning tasks to project Network and AV project leads, managing project scope and finances, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Integrates the work of large teams and multiple vendors to deliver project success.
• Oversees all phases of the project, coordinating with Portfolio manager, IT Leads, business sponsors, vendors, and other relevant areas of IT throughout.
• Ensures all deliverables and commitments are met and the project is in compliance with relevant standards and methodologies.
• Manage project financially.
• Extensive understanding on budget forecasting, accruals, change management process.
Proactively leads and executes project risk management and mitigation.
• Orchestrates activities across all internal and external constituents and works comfortably with Gilead IT leadership to escalate and manage delivery challenges.
• Possesses seasoned expertise in project management methodologies, tools and techniques


• Hands on experience working as project manager managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive 12+ years of Facilities and Infrastructure project management experience.
• Possesses in-depth understanding of the SDLC and how to apply it to relevant projects.
• Seen as an expert resource in the organization on project management.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of IT functions and services.
• Possesses familiarity with many technologies, with particular focus on deployment and implementation of technologies.
• Flexible, calm under pressure, highly communicative, and comfortable taking ownership in ambiguous situations.
• Track record of successful integration across multiple and complex technologies and systems.
• PMP certification highly desirable, but prior success on the job is most critical.
• Prior experience with managing projects related to Facilities construction; Network and Audio/Visual Infrastructure is required.
• Prior experience managing Application projects would be a big plus
• Good understanding of facilities related infrastructure as it relates to WAN/LAN/Wireless networks and Audio Visual systems would be required.
• Some sort of certification with facilities management domain would be a big plus.
• Understanding of IT qualification and commissioning process in bio-pharm industry is desired
