Contracts Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for the organizational and administrative procedures related to the planning, scheduling and contracting duties of the legal department for Experian Health. The candidate will support a legal staff of attorneys and paralegals by managing an email inbox where contract requests are submitted from a sales team of 60+ representatives throughout the United States.

Job Duties:
The candidate will need to be able to follow department policies and procedures to assign requests to the correct contracting resource and apply the correct turnaround time. In addition, the candidate will need to prepare a weekly report of all pending contracts in the queue. The candidate will need to be able to respond to requests for a copy of an existing contract by locating the applicable contract within the company's contract database.

The candidate will be expected to learn and use Salesforce to perform the day-to-day functions. The candidate will need to be an effective communicator with both the sales staff and the legal team.

Special Skills and Knowledge:
• Able to distinguish between and classify different types of contracts
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience with a contracting database, particularly Salesforce and/or Apttus preferred but not required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills, via email, telephone and in-person
• Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
• Law firm or in-house legal department experience; with an emphasis on contracting
• Familiarity with Commercial Contracts, Business Associate and Non-Disclosure Agreements a plus
