Job Description:
  • GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) PMO is a Program Management Organization (PMO) within the GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) function. The PMO is responsible to maintain an ongoing executive overview of key strategic business initiatives, programs & projects (non IT) for GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS). The PMO also drives the cadence, delivers or supports key strategic projects with overall Project & or/ Program Management expertise to ensure that these projects are on time, on budget, on quality and on value. The PMO function works with other GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) teams and other functions within Client to deliver on these objectives. The projects scopes may vary from business strategy, new business models, policy or process to operational effectiveness.
  • This PMO Expert / Director position performs the program management role necessary to ensure that multiple projects are worked upon in parallel and also contributes to GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) success by leading or supporting ongoing delivery of business initiatives, programs & projects. This PMO Expert temporary role reports to the Global VP of GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS).
  • Strategic business initiatives, programs & projects (non IT) Management
  • Leading or supporting end-to-end program and/or project delivery of assigned key strategic business initiatives, programs & projects (non IT) .
  • To shape the project scope, business case, work packages, deliverables and project management structure for assigned topics
  • Provide overall project management oversight for assigned Client Topics.
  • Included is creation of required project update structures, analyses and virtual interaction with appropriate Client teams.
  • Establish issue escalation protocol, logs and supports escalations
  • Understanding the project / program requirements and guide / coach the other teams to set up project plans and methodology
  • Evaluates and assists business cases, objectives, decision proposals, what-if scenarios and recommendations.
  • Represents GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS), identify and address GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) topics where dependent on other business areas.
  • Supports or Leads key GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) relevant escalations from the ongoing projects to appropriate resolution
  • To drive and/or support GCGB (GENERAL BUSINESS) COO team with multiple analysis, initiatives and operational activities

  • MBA in Strategy or Business Administration and/or CPA with relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (ex. Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • PMI experience and / or certification preferred

  • Excellent organizational and quantitative analysis skills.

  • Lead well-coordinated project execution & coach / inspire other teams to success
  • Capable of taking an active role within internal groups in a project environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills – esp. for top management interaction.
  • Languages - Fluency in both written and verbal English is a must;
